# 33 halloween hootenanny
this is a comp put out by Rob Zombie back in the 90es. Its cool, 19 tracks of psycho billy goodness. The best track on it is brought to you by revrend horton heat, followed by rob zombie. Now Im not a hugh fan of his shit but I realy do like this song its titled halloween. the rest of the bands on here range from fantastic to all right. I rock this in october all the time getting ready for halloween.
# 32 the police every breath you take
every one likes atleast one police song, and that go's for me as well. Roxanne is an amazeing song! fight me if you think Im wrong. but this has a hell of alot good songs, wrapped around your finger, dont stand so close to me, the list can go on and on!! If you only buy one cd from them this is it.
# 31 shelter quest for certainty
Ok Im back, I know I know, its bin a hell of along time since I last pposted. My computer crashed and the mother board went up in smoke! I lost my job so collection was forced to be put onto the back burner. But I got a new job ( paying less than my last job but hell im just glad to have a job you know ). I bought a new computer and now Im back and Im bad! Ill start to get to work on this and my other blog from now on!!
back in the 1990's religion found its way into hardcore. It was led by the odd balls who fallow Krishna, you know the freaks who botherd air travlers at the airport. but for some reason these D-bags mage some great music. Cro-mags, 108, copper, and the band we are talkin about right now shelter.
I LOVE Ray and all his bands goiong back to violent children and everyones favorit youth of today.
Now shelter is NO youth of today! but a solid band to say the least. this is the second releas from them on the revelation records label eight tracks in total. its nothing special if you are a fan of krishna core, or ray cappo than get this if not pass and move on. I always liked them live alot more than recorded.

# 30 sense field ''st''
I remember seeing this LP of this at the record shop when it come out. It had a cool budaha on the cover and I remember reading that it had members of reason to believe in it, and the fact that REV put it out so it needed to be in my collectio. Man was I glad I got this it dident leave my turn table for weeks. I played it over and over again for next to forever. One of my favorit releases of 94, this is a re relaes of the self re released music that the band did befor signed to rev records.
So in reality 'building' was the first sense field full length since this is two EP on one releas. This is still in print at revhq.com go get your self one and enjoy it.

# 29 the beta band ''music''
This is a best of 2xcd the first cd is a true best of I has tracks from the formation of the band to there last releas. The band got big here in the states due to the film high fedility staring John Cusack and Jack Black. It centers around Cusacks cahracter Rob who is the owner of a record store trying to take stock of his love life. And Berry played by Blak as one of his employes there is a sceen in the film where the store is packed with people and Rob leans into one of the employes and says '' Im going to sell 3 copys of the 3 eps by the beta band'' and he plays 'dry the rain'. thats how I discoverd the band I ran out and got the sound track JUST for that song alone. I was in love with it I ran out and bought every cd they released. So expect to see alot more pos on them as this blog rools on. As I was saying cd 1 is a true best of with songs like 'dry the rain', 'smile' 'squares' 'wonderful' and my and my sons personal favorit 'assassment' for some reason he calles it the man song, i dont know why hes an odd little nerd. The second cd is a live, recorded over two night on there farewell concert set in England. I wish I was able to go to that. This is one band I never got to see live and always wanted to. They opend for Radio head but I hate radio head and I dident want to drive to DC and pay out the ass just to see the opening act. Im an idiot for not doing so. OH well live and learn.
# 28 revrend horton heat ''laughin and cryin''
Ok what we have here is the latest RHH releas. This come out less than a year ago, and is fantastic. Jim and co. can sure put out some killer stuff, I mean hell he has done hundreds of songs HUNDREDS!! And they all are cool! LOL he has this ability to make some of the best and funniest songs recorded. With tracks like 'pleas dont take the baby to the liquor store' 'death metal guys' and 'beer holder' who can you not love it.
When this come out my wife and I went all over creation trying to get this, she NEEDED to have it the day it dropped. I can understand that trust me I do shit like that all the time.

# 27 revrend horton heat ''smoke 'em if you got'em''
All the way back in 1992 of 1993 I went to see social distortion in Pittsburgh and RHH was the opening band. I hated them, I was to punk rock to grasp the whole amazement that is the revrend. It took me a few years to get into the rev. And how I did get into him was I was record hunting at a geat store here In Pittsburgh called Eides. While I was looking for records they were playing smoke'em i you got'em and my girlfriend ( who is now my wife ) loved it. And she bought the cd while we were there. I told her about seeing them and I never paid much attention to them and I had a 7'' or two in the collection but was always indifferent when it come to rockabilly. I mena I always loved the stray cats, elvis, and gene vincent, but that was about it. After she picked up that disc thats all she listned to! Needless to say it rubbed off on me. And I went out and started to pick up more and more RHH stuff. Now I celebrate the whole catalog, and seen him about a milion times and did an interview with them when I was a DJ. This is a reat little disc, I love the song eat steak thats my personal favorit. LOL great shit if I do say so my self.
