the reason for this blog

I was sitting at my desk at work the other day, and thinking to my self I need another way to keep myself bussy when I cant sleep at night, And it hit me. Im going to do a small review and maby story of how I got into the band blah blah blah... of the CD's im my personal collection.Have no fear I still will do "so this is where all my money gos" on a regular basis. That is dedicated to all the NEW items that wind there way into my collection. This is about the existing CD I already have and have bin enjoying for next to forever. Maby just maby Ill get into the vinyl. Im not 100% if Ill ever get that froggy, but who knows. This is going to be on a random basis. What I mean by that is this is NOT a top ten, tweny, or one hundred count down. Or a list of the bands that changed my life. This is a blog about ALL the music in my collection. IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER just what ever I have at arms reach of what Im listning to at the time of post. At the same time it will contain ALL the good, the bad, and the shit Im ashamed of. Im thinking this is going to take a while so sit back and enjoy the ride.

# 22 cave in ''tides of tomorrow''

It wasent all that long ago that cave in was the darlings of the underground. Then they signed to a major, but keep there integrity. Befor signing they put out a killer little six song EP on there home base of hydra head records. The EP was titled ''tides of tomorrow'' The music on this is in the same relm of JUPITER rock based hardcore. sung not screamed lyrics, no chug chug guitar that is the blue print for most hardcore. Im not sure how many of them were pressed on 12'' ep or the totals sold on CD.
I always liked them live back when they were a converge rip off all the way to todays incarnation. They are starting to play out again, and recently dropped a new one on Hydra head records I have yet to pick it up. ( maby this week )
