the reason for this blog

I was sitting at my desk at work the other day, and thinking to my self I need another way to keep myself bussy when I cant sleep at night, And it hit me. Im going to do a small review and maby story of how I got into the band blah blah blah... of the CD's im my personal collection.Have no fear I still will do "so this is where all my money gos" on a regular basis. That is dedicated to all the NEW items that wind there way into my collection. This is about the existing CD I already have and have bin enjoying for next to forever. Maby just maby Ill get into the vinyl. Im not 100% if Ill ever get that froggy, but who knows. This is going to be on a random basis. What I mean by that is this is NOT a top ten, tweny, or one hundred count down. Or a list of the bands that changed my life. This is a blog about ALL the music in my collection. IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER just what ever I have at arms reach of what Im listning to at the time of post. At the same time it will contain ALL the good, the bad, and the shit Im ashamed of. Im thinking this is going to take a while so sit back and enjoy the ride.

# 23 Judge ''bringin it down''

NEW YORK CITY HARDCORE! and STRAIGHT EDGE!! man O man, were they the shit I remember seeing them live for the first time when I was like 13 and it was amazing! one of the most powerful bands I ever seen live! I had two chung king can suck it come in and out of my collection. ( I hate that record it sounds like crap ) I traded my 1st copy for misfits 7"es and the second for starwars toys ( prototypes they are toy versions of a test press ) But bringin it down is the re record of the chung king LP and a much better record it is. They were the bit flag wavers of the straight edge movement with lyrics that are like being punched in the face over and over again. And the music is a damn buzz saw they mixed in a bit of metal to make the sound even more menacing. Mikes vocals were like a angry gorilla drinking draino!. The fine folks over at revhq re released all the Judge stuff on a discography. you get the original chug king recording in all it horific glory, the ep stuff and bringin it down. well worth picking up. but thats another post
